The OAC is located at 3500 County Road 262, Tyler, TX.
This is a new community event to celebrate the United Nations International Day of Peace and encourage community spirit. The Festival is based on a similar annual festival that is held in Belton, Texas. The aim of the Art of Peace Festival, Tyler - is to promote a spirit of cooperation and community spirit through fellowship, dialogue, live music, poetry, art, refreshments, a presentation by our keynote musician/philanthropist, and a children’s area, among other activities. The keynote concert and presentation will be made by singer/songwriter/noted international peaceworker David LaMotte. At the event, there will be original peace artwork for auction and information from local non-profits on how to get involved. This year, any monies raised from the Art of Peace Festival will benefit PATH - People Attempting to Help. Tickets are $10 a piece, and they will go to offset the cost of the program.
